Opportunity to Collaborate with EPA to Promote Sustainable Development
EPA's Office of Site Remediation Enforcement recently published a
federal register notice announcing its intention to partner with
entities that have expertise in sustainable development as part of the
environmentally responsible redevelopment and reuse (ER3) initiative.
The purpose of ER3 is to promote sustainable reuse and redevelopment of
contaminated and previously-contaminated sites through enforcement and
other incentives.
One important component of ER3 is the development of an external network
of resources to promote sustainable development concepts and assist
developers with the logistics of integrating these concepts into
specific projects. The attached federal register notice requests
statements of interest from parties with expertise in sustainable
development that would like to partner with EPA as part of the ER3
external network. We encourage you to review the notice and pass it on
to anyone you feel may be interested in this opportunity. If you have
any questions on the federal register notice or ER3, please feel free to
contact Phil Page, (202) 564-4211, or Erin Smith, (202) 564-2038.
