National Energy from Waste Conference

The inagural National Energy from Waste Conference 2007 is perfectly timed to provide and informated and interactive forum to debate and resolve the many differenct stakeholder impressions and agendas.

Papers are invited from expert, concerned, informed and motivated authors on a range of specific topics to be specifically addressed at the conference, including:

The production of MSW as "canary" indicator for sustainabiliyt - climate change
The different forms of energy and resource value recoverable from urban waste streams
The systematic strategies and techniques to best present these materials for energy recovery
Current and prospective technologies for optimum value recovery
Community License to Operate/Nimby issues
Local & International case studies - lessons learnt
Best techniques for assured control of potential impacts (environmental, social and economic)
The current and potential role of the RDF/cent kiln options for an appropriate range of residual materials.
