POLITICS AND GOVERNANCE OF SUSTAINABLE SOCIO-TECHNICAL TRANSITIONS, International Workshop

POLITICS AND GOVERNANCE OF SUSTAINABLE SOCIO-TECHNICAL TRANSITION, International Workshop, 20-21 September 2007, Berlin.

We invite abstracts for papers that discuss the governance of radical socio-technical change for sustainable development with a special focus on
issues of A) power & agency, B) participation & legitimacy and C) institutions & change. A starting point for the discussion will be recent
governance recommendations put forward under the literature on 'transition management'. The objective is to generate new insights into the
complexities of governing sustainable socio-technical transitions.

More details are provided in the attached file. Deadline for abstracts is 28 February 2007.
